Visagraph Silent Reading Assessment
ASSESS THE UNSEEN AND UNHEARD
SKILLS OF LOWER-TIER STUDENTS
- Detects visual, perceptual, and information processing deficiencies that hinder reading development
- Helps identify instructional modifications of the Reading Plus program
- Motivates students by providing visual representations of “how” they read
- Tracks students’ interim progress and overall achievement of reading goals within Reading Plus
NORMATIVE TESTS AND DATA
The Visagraph provides students with dozens of selections on elementary, secondary, and post-secondary reading levels. Selections were used in a landmark Norm Study with 12,000 students (ranging from grade 1 through college) to establish reading efficiency normative data.
TESTS FOR NON-READERS
For non-readers, a numbers tracking test and a visual skills test can be administered to determine adequacy of visual/functional skills.
