Q: Visagraph driver installed, but not showing up on Device Manager under Universal Serial Bus Controllers
A: The issue with the Visagraph you are experiencing is because Windows is installing a DVB USB TV Receiver that it finds on Windows Update.
Visagraph Driver version 2.0.5 will fix this problem. Make sure you right click on My Computer and click on Properties. This will bring up the System Properties Panel. Go to the Hardware tab. Click on Windows Update in the Drivers box. Make sure the option it is checked off to Ask me to search Windows Update everytime I connect a new device. This will make the Hardware Wizard to prompt whether or not you want to look into Windows Update for the driver or not.
If the driver didn't work, you will need to remove the USB TV Receiver driver maunually:
1) Right click on My Computer and click on Properties. This will bring up the System Properties Panel. Click the Hardware tab. Click on Windows Update in the Drivers box. Make sure it is checked off to "Ask me to search Windows Update everytime I connect a new device". This will make the Hardware Wizard to prompt whether or not you want to look into Windows Update for the driver or not.
2) On that Hardware Tab, go to Device Manager, go to Sound, Video and Game Controllers, click on the plus sign to expand that, and right click on DVB USB TV Receiver and uninstall that driver.
3) Double Click My Computer. Go to C drive, then open theWindows folder. Open the INF Folder (If you don't see it, it may be hidden, you will need to go to Tools > Folder Options > View > and click on Show hidden files and folders).
4) In the INF folder, sort the files by dates. Delete the latest oem**.inf and oem**pnf file. Where the ** are numbers. The numbers varies for different computers as they are files of device drivers where the number increment by 1 according to the order the drivers were installed. The INF and PNF OEM files should have the same number.
5) Go to Start > Run > type in Regedit
6) Click on to expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > System > ControlSet001 > Enum > USB. Right click on the string that ends with 8613, go to permissions, and give the yourself full permission. Click apply and delete the 8613 string.
7) You will need to expand ControlSet002, ControlSet003 and CurrentControlSet and do the same in the Enum folder. That 8613 string may not be in CurrentControlSet since we uninstalled the driver in Device Manager.
8) Reinstall Visagraph Drivers. Make sure that Visagraph box is unplugged when running the driver install. When that is done, plug in the Visagraph box. It should prompt Windows to find New Hardware. The Hardware Wizard should come up. This time, make sure that when Windows asks if you want to search Windows Update for driver, hit "No, not at this time."
9) Just continue and finish the install.
Q: What do the lights on my Visagraph indicate?
If your Visagraph has a serial number of 1600 or newer, this is what the lights do:

If your Visagraph unit is older, the lights will remain off until the Visagraph driver is loaded. After the driver is loaded into Visagraph memory, the lights will blink during a recording.
