What it Does
Reading Plus® makes reading comfortable, productive and enjoyable. By addressing the foundational silent reading fluency skills required for students to become proficient, flexible readers, improved visual skills result in improved perception and greater ease and comfort during reading. Rapidity and accuracy of perception means less visual wandering during reading. Improved short term memory from more rapid and sequential input produces better literal understanding.
Studies have shown that students who read faster, comprehend better. Their energies are spent on interpreting text, rather than on the mechanics of reading and rereading for literal understanding.
